With Christmas round the corner, the past week saw churches lined up with Penitential Services. I attended the one at St Stephen's this evening after work.
So having done my reconciliation with God and given a fresh, clean slate, I should make it a point to (among other things):
- forgive and forget
- dispel any anger, grudge or hatred that's in me
- love my enemy
- be pure in mind and heart
- be satisfied, not jealous
- stop bitching
Tough right, some of these.
I guess what's really important is that we try to be Christ-like in all that we do, always remembering to do unto others only what we would like them do unto us.
Chair Rocker said this to me yesterday, "No need to confess about being bitchy la. It's not a sin what. It's just you."
Hey Chair Rocker, that's bitching too you know. I hope you've gone for your reconciliation. :p
