After finishing our tour of the temple ruins, we took a leisurely 2 hour boat ride down Tonle Sap. Here, we got a glimpse of river life and floating villages with thatched houses, including fishermen at work, floating schools and churches. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and joins the Mekong River at Phnom Penh.
And because we took an evening ride, we managed to catch a beautiful view of the sunset.

Done with the lake, we headed for dinner and then shopped a little at Central Market. This was probably about the only shopping Digital Curls managed on her 2 full days in Siem Reap.

Digital Curl missed some of the nice scenery at Tonle Sap as she dozed off with her mouth wide opened during the boat ride! Haha
